birdlife
The area of the Cairngorms National Park is a haven for the
ornithologist.
|
On our doorstep, we regularly see
Greenfinches, Siskens, Chaffinches, Blue Tits & Thrushes
darting about.
Lapwings, Partridges, Pheasants &
Oyster Catchers all put in regular appearances in the
fields and trees around the house. |
 |
Further afield but still within easy reach,
sightings of Golden Eagles, Ospreys, Buzzards, Capercaillie, Black
Grouse & Snow Bunting await you, and in winter, Insh Marshes,
between Kincraig and Kingussie, are home to large numbers of
Bewick's and Whooper Swans.
